It must be from the baking division. This job entails delivering bread and bakery items to different customers, such as to shops and stores, taking customer orders, and collecting cash. Most of it would involve managing self-stuff while driving and selling because most activities would occur directly from the delivery vehicle.
The successful candidate will report to the distribution manager and work full-time, including on some weekends and public holidays.
Uniform And Vehicle Care :
Primary Duties in Simple Language. Your delivery vehicle must be clean and hygienic. Always wear your safety clothes (PPE). Daily check on the vehicle using a checklist and report if something is wrong or Right. You must follow all traffic rules for your safety and that of others. Immediately inform your manager of any accident or damage. Arrange for replacement transport if your vehicle has serious issues. The stock you load must match the order. Count crates and confirm how many you will return. Help with loading if you can. Feel easy. Report or advise the customer if you see any damaged or subpar stock.
Responsibilities
Make sure your van assistant is present, adequately dressed, and well-behaved. Train and support him if needed. If the assistant has problems or doesn’t work well, report it to your supervisor. Always be polite, helpful, and respectful with all customers. Must-Have Good Communication Skills. Relate well, communicate beautifully, and try to sell more. If aware of a good sales opportunity, source and report to the supervisor new customers. Make sure every customer gets the correct products they ordered. Call for assistance or return to fetch more should you run out of stock. Do your best to satisfy every customer, even if with partial stock. Collect new orders for the next day and pass them on to the sales team. Bring all empty crates back daily.
Duties and Skills
Be very careful and keep all cash and documents safe. Put cash into the van safe as soon as you receive it. Watch out for fake money or any fraud. Fill out all papers correctly – like invoices, delivery slips, fuel slips, etc. Count cash at the end of each route and hand over paperwork to your supervisor. All amounts and products should match perfectly – any difference must be explained. Keep your eyes and ears open for information on competitor products and prices. Give this information to your Team.
